    Pros

nice building and nice gym for workouts. A few good apples, I do not have many to list here

    Cons

management is terrible, this company is likely going down in flames. expect you to put in 60 hours a week for what works to overcompensate for there lack of structure or systems. No crm or tracking, everything done in excel like the 90's and management will just lecture you constantly with no training. One of the most vil/evil places I have ever worked at

    Advice to Management

look at how you treat your employees, you're the worst

    Pros

Casual dress policy , nice office

    Cons

work with dishonest people trying to sell products and services that have no value Fear, they lead by fear and think that’s a effective way to manage people. No good communication between departments. You will get yelled at by the owner. He usually yells then asks questions later. Control, they need to control everything you do.

    Advice to Management

there is no point in giving advice to ignorant people

    Pros

Innovation is key here. Employees are encouraged to innovate and find new ways to accomplish tasks. I have a very strategic mind and had a blast figuring out how to improve productivity and even revenue. The CEO is really into technology and the company has a "Silicon Valley" feel to it. Good long term vision and prospects.

    Cons

Not enough hours in the day to finish tasks sometimes. Lack of cohesiveness between departments at times, but was improving.

    Advice to Management

The "trial by fire" approach to things is sometimes overwhelming, a little more guidance at times would've been welcome.

    Pros

    * Engaging work across different disciplines and industries * Startup like culture, everyone is encouraged to chip in to ensure success. Might not be for everyone, but it is definitely contributing to my personal growth. * Strong push for employees to stay active on social media * Collaboration is encouraged and rewarded * Global company. Diverse, knowledgeable and interesting group of co-workers from all around the world. * New executive management is dedicated to fixing past issues * Many opportunities to network with professionals from around the world. * Flexible hours (at least in editorial) as long as you maintain open communication and get all your work done

    Cons

    * Some employees can't handle the startup culture. They need to be led, which causes the execs to intervene for everyone. * Workloads can get high sometimes. * Should have more company sponsored team building activities.

    Advice to Management

Don't lump the few bad apples in with everyone. Recognize the trouble makers and deal with them separately.

    Pros

Learned a lot about global industries. Had a wide variety of tasks in different subjects, expanding my future work horizons. Fun teammates. Diversity was encouraged. New management seems very engaged, things were great at the time of my departure.

    Cons

There were some rough patches a few years ago, a lot of negativity floating around, but we got through it. Too many "chiefs" sometimes. Also, really great ideas are thrown out with poor execution sometimes, but it's getting better.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the engagement. It's working.

    Pros

Overall great learning experience for those who pursue it. I've acquired a lot of information on writing / editorial, online marketing (a particularly knowledgeable team), sales and management. There's tons of opportunities available for driven employees, the editorial team gets the chance to pretty much own their brand. Definitely opens up avenues for the future.

    Cons

The work can be demanding, with tight deadlines and a few inefficient processes, but those willing to think strategically can easily bypass those issues. Leadership sometimes micromanages a bit too much, but usually only when something's going wrong.

    Advice to Management

Trust your good employees a bit more, don't micromanage as much. Fix inefficient workflows.
