WDRB FOX 41 Reviews
Pros – All around pleasant work environment. People are all helpful and positive. No inter departmental bickering. Everyone works together as a team.
Cons – Sometimes baffling hiring choices lead to people who should not be there getting jobs.
Advice to Senior Management – More transparency from mid level managers
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
“Poisonous work environment where employees are intimidated into saying 'WDRB' is a good place to work. Look into it.”
Pros – There are some talented, good hearted people here.
Cons – Low pay, no bonuses, decreasing benefits. The cars in the employee parking lot speak volumes about the lifestyles of the employees. From the top down, the old school, unconscious leadership style does not consider the needs of the employees. Very negative, frustrating atmosphere in most departments company-wide. Racial, homophobic and sexually inappropriate jokes are accepted as commonplace. There is a culture of backstabbing and 'reporting' on each other to keep everyone in fear and in line. There is no interest in employee feedback, constructive criticism or freedom to make a complaint. Seriously take the time to 'off the record' talk to the employees if you are thinking of working here.
Advice to Senior Management – It cannot feel good to be in management for this company. Speak up. Do the right thing.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
Pros – The team in almost every department has a synthesis and professionalism that shows based upon the happiness and productivity of its employees.
Cons – Part-time employees get the short end of the stick.
Advice to Senior Management – Offer full time openings to long time part timers. There is real talent employed within your own ranks.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
Pros – I would say it was a very postive experience for the most part. Good General Manager.
Cons – High paced very stressful environment. I really don't have anything negative to say other than the pay is lower than expected.
Advice to Senior Management – No real advice, the management is exceptional and lead in a manner conducive to all involved. Upper management is exceptional
