I have been working at WIS International part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

This is not at all a Monday- Friday 9-5 job. Shifts are mostly very early mornings and late nights. Shifts range anywhere from 2 hours to 9 hours. The job is easy and scheduling in flexible. Reviews and possible pay increases every 6 months.

    Cons

Most positions are part-time and hours vary greatly each season. Pay is low for the amount of driving that is required for in town jobs. No PTO and limited medical benefits offered.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue with the positive reinforcement and development of current associates.

    I worked at WIS International

    Pros

Some older people have great personality if you're not threatening......

    Cons

Screaming and hollering crew managers, no professionalism shown by managers;and not enough job assignments because of nepotism within the area assigned; managers' friends and relatives assigned more jobs while new recruits are given the least assignments averaging 3 - 6 hours a week, which at $8.50 - $9.50 depending on the state in which one is employed is not even enough to cover transportation cost.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire management staff who have had people experience, and not promote from within as some of these people have never had business experience handling or managing people.

    Pros

Get paid to travel. That's about it. Good opportunities to move up the line.

    Cons

Sometimes long hours aren't that great. January is a crazy month at WIS, especially when your office is understaffed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

There is none. You are expected to work crazy amount of hours. There is no professionalism at WIS.

    Cons

They allow inventory fraud. When it is reported to upper management it gets ignored, and you end up fired. Than, they refuse to pay your last pay check because they are most likely getting fired because they do not know how to manage a district. There rate of pay is low, and the ability to move up in the pay scale is next to nothing because you have to go based on every 6 months.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look into the inventory fraud. Stop allowing your customer, especially dollar tree to make up lies that end up with employees fired. Also, when firing an employee, don't include the fact that they have medical issue as part of the reason, it's against the law. Well, maybe you need to learn the laws.

    Pros

Meet a lot of new people. Paid weekly. Good pocket money. Good for part time. Easy job if you get the hang of it.

    Cons

Some stores are too far from where I live. Office is about 25 mins away from my apartment with no traffic. On Call type of hours.
