Cons – Company offers very little training and is not interested in investing in the product to make it competitive. Management also prefers to turn a blind eye to its own failures and instead blames its weak performance on its hard-working and talented, but overworked, employees.
Advice to Senior Management – Recognize the company's strengths: Name recognition and talented, established anchor teams. Build on those strengths. Realize that you have talented employees on your team and they are not what's wrong with this company. Invest in the support they need to make the television station successful once again.
