Pros
Good thing is WNS wants to outperform in all respects and wants to be industry leader. WNS wants to be fasted growing BPO in terms of shareholder value creation, employee strength and profitability...
Cons
Heavy Cost Pressure on management,
Added lots of senior level management team in particular CEO, CPO & other sales team.
It takes time to create value for the organization in terms of adding new clients & additional revenue growth for company.
Advice to Senior Management
Transparent Employee Performance Management System. With current process of appraisal not giving enough clarity on how the appraisals and ratings are done. 90% of WNS managers do not know how to conduct appraisals and if you conduct the survey on performance discussion most would agree that the managers not discussed the performance ratings and this should change only then WNS can outperform...
Pros
Work is so minial , lot of fun activities...
Cons
management is BPO based and hence dont have any knowledge about R&A...PARTIALITY JUST FLOWS THROUGH THE VAINS OF THE ORGANIZATION.....they hire the worst of the lot and then promote them so that the top managers can push their agenda.......not at all a good place to wok...salary is extremely less...u cant grow unless you know how to fall in line, the managers hire their people from previous organizations and then keep on promoting them......
Advice to Senior Management
Start building a good brand, dont run the KPO business like a BPO ......hire better people and promote decent employees and not who are foolish to follow the directions only - dont have their brains
Pros

Pros
the reasons are that it offers good opportunities to those people who are good in English speaking. you need to be fluent at it. also good for just out of the college graduates. you need not necessarily be very good at English. they provide very good training. first there is an English or rather American Accent training. It is then followed by process training. this are for customer care executive post, where you can just make a head start. it takes at least 12 months before you are promoted. the salary in hand is 12000 rupees pm for in experienced guys and 15k for experienced guys. so it is very good for those who have worked prior in an bpo or a call center. also the canteen facilities are great. the food served is subsidized and tastes good. also the ambiance of the office is good. it is centrally air conditioned. the smokers need to go out and smoke. also locker facilities are available. there are sports facilities as well.there are cricket and football tournaments. there are table tennis and carom within the campus.also wns global services has tied up with good restaurants, retail stores where discounts can be obtained. also it promotes the talents of individuals by organizing singing competitions and antakshri competitions. also has tie up with good life insurance companies. also it has tie ups with airtel for cug within the employees. also it has tie ups with the top management institutes, so that you can pursue your mba. this is a great part of it. also wns supports social organizations like cry and others.it celebrates other days also like mothers day. also has tax payments facilities for employees making it easier.also talking about girls , there are quiet a few which are damn hot. lol
Cons
the disadvantages can be : if you are highly intelligent, the this is certainly not the place to be. your colleagues can be who have experience but are not even graduates. so it feels sick to be working with such people. the shift timings are changing. so it becomes tough to keep on changing your working hours every time. also working in a call center you have to work at night. thus it affects your health in the long term.also many a times taking holidays becomes impossible. also the growth opportunities are not very good considering the salary point of view. as your salary reaches 3.5 lakh after 2 years of experience.
Advice to Senior Management
well they need to be a bit more flexible about timings.
