I have been working at WORLDPAC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It is a fun and laid back to work unless you are driving hours are steady and overtime is common benefits are good

    Cons

Things are not fix very fast the pay is ok but raises suck only get two two and a half percent a year

    Advice to Management

It would be nice to see larger raises for people who put for the extra instead of being lumped in with the slackers

    Pros

over-time, fast paced, driving, busy, and Bob.

    Cons

management thinks they are above others (especially in Burr Ridge), takes to long to promote, takes advantage of hard workers while letting the slackers slide by.

    Advice to Management

not everyone needs to flirt in order to advance

    I worked at WORLDPAC full-time

    Pros

Management was very flexible and understanding with my schedule being I was a single mom ,

    Cons

Unfortunately , like every other company now a days , they are getting money hungry and don't care about the "customer" or their employees anymore.

    Advice to Management

Show appreciation towards your hard working employees once in awhile. They are people too.

I worked at WORLDPAC (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Needed a job at the time which was great. Yet stayed working since job hunting was minimal.

    Cons

Not enough increase of pay for all the work being performed. With no time for lunches or breaks. All the time is a rush pace of work, driving and trying not to get a speeding ticket.

    Advice to Management

Better communication with team drivers or all workers in general. At least time for lunch and break. Yet as always favoritism. Management speaks only when in the mood to speak.

I worked at WORLDPAC full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Plenty of overtime and opportunity to learn warehousing. Several forklifts to be certified on if you are one of the select few to get the opportunity.

    Cons

Work you to the bone, Very physically demanding job, poor facility attitude due to being encouraged in a negative manner through upper management.

    Advice to Management

Positive reinforcement is much more productive than negative. Employ teamwork instead of a no talking policy. Teams provide an incremental amount of higher production value if done correctly.

I worked at WORLDPAC part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Dealing with the customers is the only perk this job has. Chance to meet great people and socialize (but for only 3 seconds)

    Cons

Everything else. Had to drive my own truck. The management at the local one here in Santa Rosa has a real loud personality and voice. Given impossible time table unless you want to run a risk of a speeding ticket. I was fired because they thought I was cheating them on my millage, when in fact, most times I was under reporting my millage.

    Advice to Management

Go to the personality store and pick up a sample pack! Give the drivers the benefit of the doubt and stick up for them.
