People that I worked with. Sister agencies that were outside of NYC.

Too myopic view of the world. Digital experience in the traditional agencies was lacking, yet those agencies were driving ideas. No understanding of how the platform could deliver.

Look outside traditional agencies for next generation leadership.

lay back atmosphere, fast moving, interesting projects, nice offices, very interesting people to work with.
Cons
lack of communication within companies or within the group, unlucky to have an horrible manager only looking for personal status and not sharing the workload. Salaries are not great in comparison for the same role elsewhere.

get to know your employees, you will be surprised of the potential that they got, even to move across other Depts totally different.

Management are lazy. If someone is bad at their job, they sit firmly in the "too hard" tray and are never dealt with. Bonus pots rarely shared out fairly...

Take a good look at the management teams of smaller agencies. Are they worth the money? Listen to people new to the business, just because they're green doesn't mean their opinion isn't valid.
