    Pros

Great area in New Haven, good people, knowledge about television. Very professional atmosphere.

    Cons

For someone only selling digital advertising, very limited appeal - including LIN's their RMM offerings. Digital sales was functioning as a stand alone department while all the television exec also sold digital. Some overlap and not enough digital business - including Lin's RMM offerings to sustain business.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep television and digital bundled together and help the television execs better understand digital.

    Pros

I loved working here. The best part of WTNH in the people in the newsroom. Everyone works VERY hard to put on the put news show possible.

    Cons

Since it's a new station there are people working 24/7 including holidays, but that is just part of the industry.

    Pros

You get to work with people who have been in the industry for many years.

    Cons

Management is very poor and they don't take workers opinion into consideration. Also, the pay is absolutely terrible. You can't support a family making 30,000 and it's even worse when your company doesn't appreciate the work you do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Open your eyes and utilize the talent you have. If you want to keep good workers then you need to recognize their asset to the company and pay them their worth.

    Pros

Atmosphere, camaraderie among staff was very good. Work schedules and the work life balance was OK, but there wasn't enough feedback from management about your work.

    Cons

Management doesn't have your back at all times. Opportunities for growth limited. Favoritism was not hidden at the workplace at all. A small number of staff people always looked out for themselves even if it meant sabotaging someone else.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide opportunities for staff to grow within the organization.
