    Pros

They are fairly understanding if you need to take time off in advance. Most of the employees and management were nice and sociable people. They didn't make me do as much heavy lifting once I complained about being in pain all the time.

    Cons

I worked in the bakery, and as a petite girl lifting boxes of frozen dough was physically very painful. Then instead of doing that I pretty much cleaned the whole shift. Unless you love cleaning, I definitely wouldn't recommend this job. I also heard mice and found mouse traps in the bakery. So if that kind of thing bothers you, don't work there!

    Advice to Management

Hire more people or pay fair wages for doing so much work. It was very under-staffed.

    Pros

The job itself is, of course, very straightforward, and the experience can be enjoyable at times if coworkers and managers are good people with whom to work. Also, the job builds character: After being mistreated by so many clients, you will think twice before mouthing off to a cashier in the future.

    Cons

Dealing with rude customers who assume cashiers are beneath them Low pay -- even coworkers who had been with the company for five years and could work in a number of roles were only paid a couple dollars above minimum wage

    Advice to Management

Reward employees who are doing a good job. It makes no sense to pay someone with five years of experience and (for some incomprehensible reason) enthusiasm for the job basically the same wage that 16-year-olds make when they first walk in the door

    Cons
