Pros
Benefits package for full-time employees (30 hours or more averaged of 12 weeks), Dental provided in package, Retirement and investment opportunities provided to employees, Provides health insurance to domestic partners as well. When the company is not in a hiring freeze, it is fairly easy to transfer from one store to another or from district to district.
Cons
They are trying to save money by cutting employee hours and not filling some positions once they become vacant so they can move other employees around to plug the gaps. They are trying to do more and more with less and less.
Advice to Senior Management
We really need you to be more employee centric again. As a retail facility it all comes down to customer service and experience. One way to ensure both is to have the right people and make them happy. Over time the good employees may leave and if they don't leave their level of job satisfaction will drop. Nothing will ruin a customer service experience more than an employee who doesn't see it as anything more than a job.
Pros
Good salary and benefit package.4
Cons
Not as much time off for family and personal time with no overtime pay.
Pros
Great training for management, good compensation and benefits, 100 year old company.
Cons
Uncertain of new direction, hiring and promotion slow down
Advice to Senior Management
"More from the core" isn't working.
Pros
The store became a sort of family, and even after I left I still enjoyed visiting and catching up with my former colleagues.
Cons
Some corporate failings in regards to managers, who were often mistreated by their superiors and occasionally passed this maltreatment on to select employees. Store managers receive the short end of the straw, at least from my point of view (below manager).
Advice to Senior Management
Please ensure that your district managers are looking out for the best interests of assistant and store managers, not just the store owners.
Pros

Cons
unreasonable tasks, terrible policies that allow for customer abuse, terrible scheduling on holidays and slow days
Advice to Senior Management

Cons
Working with the public is not always the best...Plus they are changing the management structure and I am not for it.
Pros
Company is changing direction...looking to change the management structure...
Cons
Looking to have people do the same job for less money...see store team lead
Advice to Senior Management
Keep customer satisfaction as priority...then the money will follow
Pros
Great compensation and benefits package. Very clean facility, room for advancement.
Cons
It can be difficult to advance and there are limits on how far you can go.
Pros
Flexible with a school schedule, easy, repetitive work, offered raises after being with the company for a certain amount of time.
Cons
Some customers were rude, sometimes stuck doing more than your job for the day, doing shelf resets was really unpleasant.
Advice to Senior Management
While I was employed by the company, I felt like the leadership was perfectly competent. I really enjoyed working with my managers.
Pros
As a pharmacist, I have certain freedom to do my job

Too many pettiness from middle management where it create a hinder to my job sometimes
