    Pros

It was a clean job that was always testing your memory. It kept you alert and constantly thinking an looking.

    Cons

The carbon-monoxide fumes were pretty ruff with no exhaust system. to clean them out.It wasn't fare that they started writing employees up an firing them when it was the fault of the Engineer causing people to miss drill on cars put whams on car that didn't get them etc.all was due to poor engineering moved plant around forgot to move exhaust ventilation system around to.

    Advice to Management

Make better observation of any change as by the engineers that could effect the safety of your self and employees.

    Pros

Pay was OK. Benefits were decent. 401k was average.

    Cons

Management doesn't care about your well being. Deal with the elements everyday. Hours are erratic, you may get 42 for a few months, then be forced to work 60 for a few weeks, then back to 40. No reward for being smart. No advancement opportunities. Supervisors and HR are grossly unqualified to do their jobs effectively.

    Advice to Management

Don't change policies just because one person thinks it'll make a major difference. Make sure your leads and supervisors are smart enough to use proper English when speaking, and are totally sober when reporting for work. Stop making the job harder than it needs to be. Promote the people who are looked to as leaders, and have the intelligence to do the job the most cost effective way. Follow the company's Core Values, instead of just letting them hang on the wall.

    Pros

Salary, some benefits, its a job

    Cons

Bad culture, no personal growth, zero HR backing, management lacks truth. A lot of smokers, place smells awful.

    Advice to Management

Read the 14 points for management by Dr. Deming, be honest with upper management and treat the middle people with respect. Stop favoritism.

    Pros

had the pleasure of working independently, was welcomed to switch to other departments when my department was slow. good benefits, my first supervisor was awesome and worked very well with our dept. most of the supervisors there are fair and listen to our issues.

    Cons

some departments there have way to much favoritism, too many supervisors that don't know whats going on or what to tell you if you have an issue. some of the top office staff wear car goggles and ignore the true problems that should be addressed, say they have an open door policy but really don't want to hear the truth. when issues within the company came to light seemed like they would say they were going to fix it but nothing seemed to be done in certain instances the same people would repeat the same mistakes and depending on "who" you are/were before they were reprimanded, if at all. company doesn't hire individuals from the field to work in the office, they post jobs on the board but unless your a supervisor you dont get to move into upper level/office.

    Advice to Management

hire people who have an automotive background or general common sense, not just people w/twic badges or driver licenses. when problems arise do something about it. stop the favoritism in all depts. hire from within because your soldiers in the field are the ones that really know what goes on and have a good idea of how to try to fix it. also listen to your people if they are complaining most of the time there's a reason .

    Pros

    Decent Pay and Good Benefits

    Cons

Very long hours, oppressive leadership, no human resources for employees to receive help on pay and benefit questions.

    Advice to Management

Stop backstabbing each other, playing favorites, acting as if you are above all other employees, speak with professional dialect

    Pros

Decent pay and excellent benefits. Other employees fun and easy to get along with.

    Cons

There is no consistency in how people are disciplined. They fire the good people and allow the bad apples to stay. HR does nothing to help and ads to the problem.

    Advice to Management

Be consistent in how you apply policies. Firing the people in the office that actually cared and worked hard will continue the horrible morale. Stop discriminating on race and treat everyone equally.
