I have been working at Walmart full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The company does have some great associates that are dedicated and hard working

    Cons

    Work life balance
Upper management does not care about the associates
It is easy to move up really quickly in the company but it comes at a price (I.E. family time, your dignity etc..)
Middle line managers are treated the worse (Assistant Managers)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Treat your associates better!!

As a successful Asset Protection Associate, they are very flexible with schedule, which is great as I am going to school and have a child. Very willing to work around my life.

I have been working at Walmart full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Lots of room for advancement. Good feedback on job performance. Flexible schedule as long as your willing to be flexible as well

    Cons

Large company means that small issues you may have get lost in the shuffle so don't expect a lot of hands on problem solving.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I really like most of management where I work an the only advice I would give to them is. That they need to work better together. Most of the time there's 3 or 4 managers that are nowhere near the same page and have different goals for the same associates

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to hire more associates. The more u don't hire worse it's gonna get. Quit being so cheep!!!
