I have been working at Walmart full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Lots of great people. Many companies just pay lip service that the employees are 'the most valuable asset'. Here it is true. performance is recognized. If you are willing to commit , play well with others, the sky is the limit. Long term employees are held in esteem.

    Cons

Seems big at first, but as you network and find your groove, it starts shrinking.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Toot Walmart's horn more in he media. You hear so much bad about Walmart in the press. The company gives so much back to the communities, green initiatives, solar power, bringing back jobs to the US, jobs for Vets, food bank donations, emergency support like during Katrina, Sandy, tornado devastation. Then there is the work the Foundation does too.

    Pros

Not very demanding. Option to advance your career. Easy to get a job. Everything that you would expect to be positive about a place like walmart.

    Cons

Poor pay. Dealing with customers. It's walmart. It's not like you're working as the CEO of Apple. Three more words.
