    I worked at Walmart

    Pros

Very rarely does your schedule change during the week and you get called off of work. Opportunities to grow within the company.

    Cons

right now the pay is not the greatest. Maybe if you had previous retail experience you would have some consideration for a higher pay. But if you need time off as in my case I had to leave out of the country for necessary business, therein could be a problem.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire managers and supervisors that can understand human nature and can fairly treat everyone. Monitor employees productivity more closely. Lazy employees affect quality.

    I worked at Walmart

    Pros

Easy job to keep. Clear rules regarding what to do and what not to do.

    Cons

Lack of caring regarding customer's bad attitudes and poor/abusive treatment of employees. Ineffective management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have absolutely no further advice for management. Correction, at least none that I am willing to provide for free.

I have been working at Walmart part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Almost everyone are so nice to work with...almost makes it all worthwhile.

    Cons

The managers are rude and disrespectful and extremely physically demanding. They expect so much for so little.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get to know your employers better. Be warmer.. treat them like humans...maybe some incentives now and again. They might stay longer. It's like slavery and for only $8.35/Hr plus .75 c for night work - doesn't even cover my bills. I have no quality time when I'm not working, as I feel ill.. just too tired. I only get 32 hours which is 4 nights. Full timers can't work any more than 40 hours ( 5 nights).
