    Pros

hard work good pay a place where you can grown at a fast rate if you are willing to put the time and effort into your job

    Cons

If you do work hard and everyone else contributes to the overall restocking, move items to floor, placing items on shelves, securing those items and making sure the customer is well taken care of.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To allways be fair in your praise as well criticism towards all those employees that are above and below you, make sure the persons that are being promoted are well trained and prepared to do the job at hand

I have been working at Walmart

    Pros

Willing to work with my family obligations. Gave me the opportunity to climb up the ranks.

    Cons

Too many petty notes and no time to do the actual routine. And too much 'book work' taking what little time we can actually spend in our departments away from us. Plus the 4 on 2 off really does stink.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Managers need to earn the respect of the associates not just go in and demand it.

I have been working at Walmart full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Imsurance, travel, meeting people around the world

Running a small format is harder then a supercenter. Small formats we only have 50 to 69 Associates. All associates and management need to be a custom too doing everything in the store
