Good place to start your first job

Customer Insights and Analytics Manager (Current Employee)
    San Bruno, CA

ProsI learned a lot from this role because it is facing several business sectors. Everyone's nice and helpful. There are always things to do. Office is nice and the work is pretty lay-back.

ConsThe career path is kind vague.
Actions have been done pretty slow and it is hard to see my work being used in any future products.
Company is kind cheap, so no FREE stuff.

Lots of promise. Lots of mayhem.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    San Bruno, CA

ProsAmazing group of people with a strong underlying culture. Pay is really solid now for technology people. Company is investing in growth.

ConsHuge group of new senior leaders means the culture is in a free fall. Influx from eBay and Paypal is changing how people work with each other - not for the better.

Advice to Senior ManagementHelp resolve the turf wars quickly so people can focus on doing the right thing.

    Walmart NOC

    NOC Technician (Current Employee)
    San Bruno, CA

    Prospay, benefits, stock options, 401k

Consfavoritism, cut-throat environment filled with gossip, negativity and a high-school type mentality. No support from mid-level managment. horrible on-boarding and training process. career-pathing only for Supervisor favorites. Manager is out of touch with employees and their contributions. No follow-through. Unfair employee reviews, not based on work ethic but if you are buddy buddy with the Supervisor.

Advice to Senior Managementreplace mid-management with people who will support the entire team. Develop a positive culture for the NOC.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
