    Pros

There are so many things to LOVE about working at Walt Disney World. There are endless possibilities to improve your position and work in just about any job you would like.

    Cons

The worst part of working at Disney would be the low pay and the plethora of annoying guests. Overall, the people you work with are great. Manager can take things a little to serious, but that is everywhere.

    Advice to Management

Chill out. Some managers take their job too seriously. Overall, they are really cool and understand that your job is pretty tough for the pay you receive. Some managers get on a power trip and feel like they have something to prove.

    Pros

The benefits are competitive. They offer health care, 401k, vacation. Many opportunities for advancement. So many different divisions allows for movement if desired so you won't be bored.

    Cons

None that I have personally encountered. During my tenure I was able to advance working for mostly great bosses. Hours worked have been very reasonable.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

    Pros

You got to meet a lot of great people working for this company and I'll never forget the awesome experiences that I had working at Disney, I would differently go back.

    Cons

When things started to get worse in our region, everyone started to leave because no one wanted to put up with the people that were left. Also, recreation is a very tightly knit group and rumors like to spread a lot, so be careful.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employers more. Whenever there was an issue, all of the lifeguards would try to help and come up with a good solution but the managers never wanted to hear what we had to say about it.

  6. Great leadership and investment in staff make this an awesome place to work!

    Pros

The company invests in the development of its employees. There is great work life balance, friendly people, 3 weeks paid vacation, good benefits, and the silver pass that gets you into almost any Disney park in the world for free! (with the exception of Paris and Tokyo)!

    Cons

compensation is not quite as competitive in terms of talent market.

    Advice to Management

this would probably be more geared toward compensation leaders. To keep ourselves competitive in the job market, we need to offer competitive comp to attract top talent

Policies that do everything possible to not pay benefits

    Pros

Free tickets for me and my family to Disney World.

    Cons

I have some health issues, and they are only willing to make accommodations if the person can afford to see a doctor.

    Advice to Management

Management should treat their employees with a little more understanding when it comes to health issues. There should be a way for all people to be accommodated, not just the ones who can pay.
