Former Employee – worked at Walter Investment Management
Pros – Good pay and insurance was ok. I was caught up in a business model change and was laid off; so I was only there for a year and was never able to develop my newly created position
Cons – Advancement was lacking in finance dept. Many people felt like they really didn't have any incentive to grow because they would not be rewarded

“No work/life balance and unrealistic goals.”

Pros – Pay and benefits are good.
Cons – No work/life balance at all. Collections/delinquency goals are unrealistic.
Advice to Senior Management – Recognize and reward achievements and allow some sort of work/life balance.
