    ProsWell run division provides solid career opportunities to sales and service professionals.

    ConsThere still remains an element of entitlement mentality "old guard" employees who feel they are owed a paycheck whether they perform or not.

    A bad experience compounded with incompetent management

    ProsTechnicians are able to work independently and the company usually has the tools, chemicals and other supplies to do the job properly.

    ConsThe company is loaded with incompetent supervisors, middle and upper management born out of nepotism. None of these people earned their positions on their own merit.

    Advice to Senior ManagementMy advice to upper management - Rollins, LLC - is to clean house of these incompetent people and start from scratch.

    Not The Best Place To Be

    ProsThe company offers independence, technical support and supplies when needed. There is access to entomologists. They also accommodate people when they need time off.

    ConsTheir appointment scheduling and routes is a nightmare.There is never enough time to do the job right. They are always short of help and push those who are there.

    Advice to Senior ManagementThere are too many friends and friends of friends in the company who are non producers or just incompetent. The lack of accountability is amazing.

    Long over due management changes focuses on performance and accountability

    ProsWaltham provides great training and benefits compared to most other companies I've worked for. Our service jobs stay in the US and can't be sent to India or China.

    ConsWe recently had an increase in healthcare costs.

    Advice to Senior ManagementStay committed to customer service and providing a good work environment for employees. Don't lose sight of what made Waltham a great company.

    Was good for years but way different company now.

    ProsBenefits, training is very good, some independence.

    ConsSome very unethical senior managers. Morale has been going down hill the past five years. Used to feel like part of a family but at the end just used and abused and no one would listen.

    Advice to Senior ManagementBe honest and ethical. Make your employees feel like part of the team. Be realistic when setting budgets and goals.
