I have been working at Warner Bros. full-time

    Pros

A long standing company, Warner has benefits, and follows HR guidelines that smaller companies may not be able to provide

    Cons

A large company comes with it bureaucracy. It can take time and a lot of salesmanship to get things done.

    Advice to Management

Recognize that different divisions and departments do not function in a one-size-fits-all manner, and so different approaches may be necessary.

    Pros

    Work at home. Creatively good.

    Cons

Male orientated who are spoiled, miserable men. TV deadlines are harsh for the amount of work you have to do. You better get it right. No time for learning how or making mistakes. Nice people get thrown to the dogs in the animation industry at every studio. I'm looking for a great place where I can excel and be really prosperous in life. Most likely it will never be with another Californian. They are dishonest and selfish using flowery words.

I have been working at Warner Bros. full-time

    Pros

Good benefits,I prefer the culture over most of the industry competitors, the number of long term employees speaks well for the company and means there are many resources with lots of experience in the industry, generally the industry has been and is continuing to contract, unless you are in the production / marketing positions pay tends to be below average

    Cons

Company can be highly resistant to change, decisions are often made by committee requiring long periods of consensus building, because of this often who you know is more important than what you know

I worked at Warner Bros. full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good pay. Very intelligent employees, motivated to succeed. Best-in-class across Interactive Entertainment, Television, Theatrical. CFO leads profit focus, with senior management fixated on efficiency.

    Cons

No real corporate culture. No bonds across divisions, even a de facto incentive to NOT cooperate with one another. No regard for Burbank from TWX corporate in NYC. Lacks the magic of Disney, lacks the fun of Universal.

    Advice to Management

Incentivize divisional presidents to root for and enable each other's success. Have the CEO meet with more junior employees. Find a long-term parks solution (other than Six Flags) and TV distribution solution (other than The CW).
