    Pros

The salary is competitive, the benefits are great, and the most of my co-workers were smart and friendly.

    Cons

The culture of the company is shifting from being a company to provide the best content, to a company that looks only at the bottom line. There has been a significant shift towards cost cutting, and short term thinking, rather than a long term strategy towards maintaining their status as a world leader in entertainment. This started with the ill fated decision to outsource, and cost cut all cost centers, and squeeze additional work out of the remaining people left.

    Advice to Management

Look at a long term strategy instead of short term gains, and short term increases in stock price. Also, don't initiate an "employees first" policy, and treat the employees as if they are "employees last".

    Pros

Warner Bros. has a great corporate culture. With very few exceptions, management and coworkers are professional and respectful. The "entertainment industry" perks (summer hours, movie screenings) are a nice add.

    Cons

Low turnover sometimes restricts upward mobility.

    Advice to Management

None at this time. Management generally seems to be focusing on future revenue and growth.

    Pros

Great company, great perks, free screenings and gym.

    Cons

No opportunities for growth. The scope of work is very limited. Senior managers and directors guard their silos and prefer not to share with their team for the job security purposes. If you want to grow you have to be "buddy-buddy" with your superiors and play politics.

    Advice to Management

Make it easier for people to move ahead within the company. Make it necessary for managers to share their knowledge and grow the next level of managers. Be more team-oriented and less silos-oriented.

    Pros

Salary, benefits and flexibility are amazing. There are a lot of forward thinking executives who encourage staff to have a life and balance the job with that. Locations are amazing and the paid holidays and time off are a huge bonus.

    Cons

Job stability when working on various TV shows that have uncertain futures can be very stressful. The corporate structure for hiring additional support staff can be a bit overwhelming. Lack of training programs or nurturing of skilled technical staff.

    Advice to Management

Encourage executives to focus on their staff a bit more and recognize talent as well as team members who should be groomed for advancement. Creating training opportunities for staff to better their skills which will better the department in which they work.

    Pros

Gateway to a lot of entertainment opportunities Good extra benefits (screenings, lot access, gym, etc.

    Cons

Low Pay, significantly lower then most internships of similar caliber, and a lot of tedious work (to be expected at any internship)

    Advice to Management

Pay your interns more and maybe create a program that can lead to an offer of full time employment

    Pros

    Cons

Everyone stays (which is good) but that means there aren't a lot of promotion opportunities.
