    I have been working at Washington Redskins full-time

    Pros

    I make a good salary, sign-on bonus was great, health benefits are okay.

    Cons

    OSHA needs to come in here and see all the violations that are obviously going on. I have gotten hurt multiple times throughout the year due to awful work conditions.

    Advice to Management

    Please hire a new coach that will utilize my skill-set and not try to turn me into a player I am not. Also, please upgrade the people that are supposed to protect me and I might be able to play more than a handful of games a year and see January.

    Pros

    Pro Sports Team Travel with players on chartered plane Sideline access

    Cons

    Long hours during season (14 hour days/7 days a week) Comp tickets but can't use them because you are working No days off during the season Job Performance is based on a Pass/Fail approach Unwritten rule to not address the players unless they initiate it

    Advice to Management

    Quit trying to act like Dan Snyder. Act like the businessman that made you successful before you sold out to DMS.

    Pros

    - Looks great on a resume to work for the Redskins - Staff is friendly and great to work with - Managers work with you with any issues you may have

    Cons

    - Terrible pay, commission, and times - Little to no career advancement with the organization - Benefits are terrible among the industry - Organization only cares about the bottom line and not employee satisfaction or even customer satisfaction

    Advice to Management

    Offer more incentives to your employees and treat them like real people. Your sales staff, at all levels, brings in your revenues and deserves to be recognized and rewarded properly.

    Pros

    Had an awesome time in the press box sitting alongside the Redskins.com writing staff. Watched the game and took notes throughout.

    Cons

    Daylong internship didn't provide the experience desired. Wish they had extended an offer to serve the staff longer.

    Advice to Management

    Felt unfair how they gauge (or don't) character, work ethic and passion. I worked extremely hard to earn this spot but they overlooked my candidacy.

    I have been working at Washington Redskins part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Fits into your schedule due to most games being on Sunday at 1pm. Great place to work if you have no prior work experience. Learn a lot about customer service and how to interact with customers/fans.

    Cons

    Little pay, the stadium is in Maryland so you only get paid the national minnimum wage of $7.25 instead of DC minnimum wage which is around $9-10. Internships are unpaid. No employee perks and ridiculous rules. Was not allowed to wear ski pants or a hat even when the temperature at games were around 40 degrees and below.

    Advice to Management

    Give more game day employee incentives.

    Working games for a pro team.. Game tickets.. History / tradition of old franchise.. Meeting players / coaches..

    Cons

    Long hours.. Low pay... bad PR at times.. poor on field product can have a negative impact on sales / brand. Only top VPs make good money.. You do it because you love sports and being associated.
