Pros
I worked in the merchant services and the people were fantastic and great to work with. Great learning experience for me.
Cons
Was that I did not get to work there for full time. I loved working there everything was great and the gals were fun.
Pros
Everyone strives to be friendly, the customers are very nice. The branches are closed a lot.
Cons
There is nothing to do but wait for your shift to end. Aggressive sales are frowned upon ....that explains why a 200 year old company only has 15 branches. They micro manage, small issues are a big deal. The bonuses are a joke! They get all hot and bothered if it's over $200.00. You see maybe 50 people on a busy day. If you want a career that's fun and enjoyable keep looking. This job will drive you crazy with boredom. You can tell which employees have been there for a long time because they get so easily amused. I saw one girl save paper clips because they were a "unique shade of blue". They also round your time down when you punch in and out and do not pay overtime.
Advice to Senior Management
Embrace sales. Aggressive sales are what this company needs. More focus on that and less micromanaging would benefit this company.
Pros
. great work environment
. great training
Cons
. few openings
. everyone stays here low turnover

Pros
The group training was comprehensive and prepares you to take a variety of calls. Management is always supportive and allows time to answer questions. Feedback is given on a regular basis. The people are very friendly in every department. The hours allow for work-life balance.
Cons
Working a Saturday shift once a month. Working your way up to the morning hours can be quick or take a while. Parking can be a expensive, but there is a trolly from the approved lot.
Advice to Senior Management
Washington Trust bank is doing a wonderful job keeping clients and employees happy. I have no advice to offer at this time.
