    Pros

Free tickets to Busch and WCUSA. Discounts and good food. Cool people to work with.

    Cons

Not enough AC units for the stores. Some managers/unit supervisors don't know what they are doing.

    Advice to Management

    Get it together.

    Pros

Plenty of hours Fun environment Great Supervisors Mostly Nice Guests Meaningful Work Did I mention the hours?

    Cons

The days are long... They schedule you for 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. It would be nice to have some breaks so you don't get sick of working there so quickly.

    Advice to Management

Split the life guards shifts into two shifts! It is ridiculous working for so many hours a day so many days a week. Especially when your in the sun all day long...

    Pros

Somewhat decent job first job if you don't mind being in the sun all day long. Good on a resume for the customer service.

    Cons

Out in the hot sun 90-95%+ of the time. (exclusions are breaks and bad weather) Keeping Bathrooms clean, nuff said. Just a tad bit above minimum wage.

I worked at Water Country USA part-time

    Pros

Fun working environment full of lifers and people looking to move onto bigger and better things. After the initial pre season rush it was pretty easy and I got paid decently to do my job.

    Cons

It's obvious that the place is pretty much falling apart. I worked in water quality and the pipes were for the most part pieced together with stuff from 20 years ago.

    Pros

Free park access, got to be outside

    Cons

Run 90% by teens on summer break.

    Advice to Management

Minimum wage and 10 hours a week is pitiful even for highschool students.

    Pros

Great first or summer job. I worked here while I was home from college. My coworkers were the reason why I would go when I was scheduled.

    Cons

Don't expect to move up in the company, you have to brown nose to the end of time or have to know someone. The internationals that are brought in aren't properly trained and like to do their own thing. A lot of the time I was talked down to by supervisors or treated like I was stupid and was over worked, ended up with tendonitis in my foot my last summer there.

  10. My experience with Water Country USA

I worked at Water Country USA part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

minimum wage pay with an increase if you get certified to sale alcohol

    Cons

Made sure you did not work 40 hours a week, especially not over 40 hours. Scheduling was not the best. I lived an hour away, some times would get to work just to be told to go home because they had too many people.

  11. I was an Aqua Tech, seasonal for the summer while in college. Cool people and made bank with lots of hours.

    Pros

Lots of hours, free tan, lots of walking, free water park passes and free admission to bush gardens, cool associates

    Cons

not many, I mean its a seasonal summer job, so anything negative should be forgiven bc I only worked there to make bank

    Advice to Management

I was a year older than my immediate manager and he was cool. Good seasonal job to gain mgmt experience
