Pros

Waterford Wedgwood was a good place to work. The management kept us as informed as possible. Employees were valued as people, not just as cogs in the wheel. While pay was not exceptional, I was happy working there since I was always treated fairly.

Cons

The greatest challenge was always financial in nature. Product was often not available in a timely fashion or prices had to be increased to a level that was too prohibitive to be successful.

Advice to Senior Management

The executives that I had access to were all very talented and doing their absolute best to make the company successful. Unfortunately there were too many factors that could not be rectified and ultimately capsized the retail portion of the company.

Pros

The product and the people who have worked hard to put Waterford and Wedgwood products to the market

It appears the only thing that is important is making the bottom line look good so they can sell the company
