I have been working at Watershed Treatment full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I have been an employee of The Watershed for over 2 years and continue to grow with the company. They believe in what they do and it feels good to be able to give back to other sick and suffering addicts who need help. I am grateful to work for an organization that provides this kind of service. Their benefits are also great!

    Cons

The only challanging thing I find is trying to seperate my own recovery from work. I often have to remind myself that helping other addicts and alocoholics at work is not my program, but rather my job. If you can learn to seperate the two, you will do just fine.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I happen to admire my boss and think that they do an excellent job at not only managing, but taking suggestions to improve our team and progress as it relates to helping imporve our treatment process.

This company is ok for short term. Has a lot of unrealistic expectations.

    Cons

Micro management, evil CEO, and very stressful.

I worked at Watershed Treatment part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Not boring, co-workers for the most part were decent

    Cons

Management is awful, employee turnover is as high as I've ever seen, employee moral is terrible. Worked there for over 2 years and in our dept of 40 only 3 of us remained from when I was hired. Work environment is negative, stressful.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try and foster a more positive work environment. Lose the attitude of , we don't acre if you leave, there is a line of applicants ready to take your place. If you value your employees, good things will happen, the bottom line (which it seems is all that is cared about at this place) will actually improve if you have high-quality, happy staff. The negativity in this place effects the patients too, they don't need that type of environment to be successful in their recovery.

I worked at Watershed Treatment full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Only 30 min. drive from my residence

    Cons

Poor pay. Only get a 30 min. break, no breaks in between.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

This is how I feel about the department I was in, the "Can Do" team, not the whole company.
I felt very much uncomforatble here. I always felt watched, there was always someone behind me or beside me being loud and disturbing. I like working quietly and alone, not possible here. The others I worked with seem to have a problem with me actually doing my work. Alot of nonsense goes on in the department, was not for me.
