    Pros

    - Interesting work that is rarely repetitive. - Great environment to learn from industry veterans on a day to day basis. - Good work/life balance - Relatively light travel schedule for consulting firm - Improved professional development / promotion track. A lot of effort has been put in by management to formalize many career development aspects of the business, including workshops, and professional development goals required to reach the next level.

    Cons

    - Training / onboarding process still unclear and could be improved. In particular, new hires come from many different background and industries, and a crash course to help everyone get on the same page is needed

    Advice to Management

    - Continue to formalize training and onboarding processes - Solidify culture and hire based on fit in addition to relevant skills / experience

    Pros

Flexible schedule, less travel than at larger firms, focus on tech, experienced partners, nice people

    Cons

Very low compensation for management consulting, unclear promotion track although this may have changed in the last year or two, fewer exit opportunities available than at larger more established firms, very top-heavy org structure with 40%+ of the company being partners, minimal training/onboarding, PE work is predominantly portfolio-company related and not diligence-focused

    Advice to Management

Increase compensation, define promotion track more clearly and improve training
