I have been working at Wawa full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Paid time off , time and 1/2 on new years day/eve, christmas eve, july 4th, easter etc, double time on christmas day, Annual review as well as flexible hours (you are not limited to work the same shift) If you genuinely need too, you can transfer to a different store without much difficulty.

    Cons

Strongly depends on management. (General Managers are given the freedom to run the store the way they want. What one GM would cut your hours for another would not care about). Some managers make the scedule for the following week on saturday/sunday. If you are not working you may have to drive to work to find out what your scedule is. You are not garenteed any amount of hours a week and a GM can cut your hours from 40 to 4 with no

    Advice to Management

Fix inconsistencies in management styles from store to store Make scedules on time. It is not fair to your associate to find out they are working monday at 6am on sunday night.

I have been working at Wawa full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Hours are flexible and if you work there for a year and are over 21 you can get stock and a 401k. Also coffee is free when you are working

    Cons

Wawas are understaffed and unless you're a general manager you're most likely underpaid.
