    Pros

Amazing team work atmosphere. Constantly improving products and how they treat their associates. I've met a lot of great people and always enjoyed my time there. There is a management track for those committed.

    Cons

Management at times can be condescending. Pay could be better (but what do you expected). Customers are probably the worst part about this job, unfortunately.

    Advice to Management

Work with your team, not from your ivory tower. I have respected and worked much better with managers who work alongside their teams and not ones who just bark orders from their office.

    Pros

Good company that has good values. Promotes from within, excellent pay for managers.

    Cons

Upper management of stores can change and when it does the stores can really go downhill depending on who is brought in next.

    Pros

I was able to work in a happy environment. Coworkers build off each other, and pay was decent. It was a good starting job.

    Cons

WaWa tried to implement more responsibilities to the register position that was nearly impossible. I am one who takes initiative and hustles, but we were one of the top performing WaWa's in the area. I would walk away from the register and get about ten to fifteen feet before I had a customer come up to the register.

    Advice to Management

It was much more productive to have people focus on their position, and have an extra person during busy hours to float around and accomplish the multiple random tasks.

  10. Not Bad

I have been working at Wawa part-time

    Pros

Treated fairly, the manager was nice but the head manager did not appreciate all we were doing for not enough pay

    Cons

We were not paid enough and had to do tasks that required a lot more effort then what the minimum wage was. Also, sometimes we ran out of products that were not restocked for the time that we needed them.

    Advice to Management

Hire more employees that have more drive to work. We need better managers who care about the work we are putting in to the job and are willing to talk to us all the time when we need to talk

    Pros

Good benefits(medical, profit sharing etc) high paced work environment

    Cons

Management is expected to be a main part of the hourly workforce, not just help out when needed.

    Advice to Management

Good for experience, great to retire with. Get that corporate job if possible
