    Pros

Great company with a good long term growth strategy. Privately held so less worry about constant change to appease short term investors.

    Cons

24 hour business means very little mental downtime, even if you are not physically at work.

    Advice to Management

When someone has worked at a high level in other organizations, understand that many of the skills acquired transfer because they are solid business principles. Let go of the notion that spending time in each of the lower level management positions is necessary to allow good managers to earn salaries that are more comparable to what we made in other industries more quickly. It will remove some of the personal financial stresses that accompany switching industries and encourage good people to stay longer, reducing turnover costs In the long run.

    Pros

Coworkers are amazing and fun to work with, flexible schedule for school, benefits

    Cons

Very difficult and stressful work, I often came home from work feeling sore as if I had just worked out for hours. Often found myself running all around the store, performing every task. You have a large workload and you are often forced to work 10+ hours a day.

I have been working at Wawa (More than a year)

    Pros

The discounts are lovely, co-workers are nice, nice pay,

    Cons

Bad hours(6 hours a week even though I worked there for a long time. I need money for my situation and I keep explaining to them. They ignore me and hire a new person. And she gets better hours. It depends on the Wawa and it depends on what boss you have. If they don't give you hours than they don't deserve you. Sometimes you can be alienated from the co workers especially if you don't know them that well....there is more but I don't have time....

    Advice to Management

Give the deserving workers hours! If you have a worker who has been working with you for years at least give them hours!

    Pros

Great benefits, good hours, profit sharing

    Cons

You need to be able to multi task. Depending on the location of the store, mostly you will rarely have any down time, you'll always have something to do.

    Advice to Management

If an associate needs 35 hours to keep their health insurance, be a pal and schedule them 35 hours.

I have been working at Wawa full-time

    Pros

Benefits, 401k, pto, decent pay. Opportunity to advance career

    Cons

Hectic, extremely stressful, if your lucky you will work with managers who actually work, not sit in office and bark orders. Monthly audits are crazy in depth and almost impossible to get a good score( used to be graded more leniently , then all the sudden seemed like they try to fail everyone out of no where).
