I worked at Wawa full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great profit sharing, helping customers will brighten your day

    Cons

lots of hours, schedule varies, mgrs. expect that they own you body & soul, your work and team abilities will not count as much as your ability to kiss up

    Advice to Management

Any level other than GM, the mgr owns your schedule. If they are your partner, you're in good shape, if they are self-focused you will be run through the ringer with no appreciation and no career advancement.

    Pros

Nice environment, the people there are hard working and team players.

    Cons

Hard work ( many times working short of people), and crazy schedule. Some time, you have to be there at 4 am.

I worked at Wawa part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Wawa is a good place to work if you are looking for part-time (with the opportunity to pick up more hours), fast-paced work. The company does care about their employees and rewards them when they do an exceptional job at certain tasks with an item called "goosebumps." You can save and use your Goosebumps points for movie tickets, Wawa gear, etc.

    Cons

The downside is that if you are looking to have a consistent, normal 9-5 schedule, this job is not for you. You may not always get time to eat your lunch on shift and there are frequent call-offs, so shifts are used to being short-handed.

    Advice to Management

I don't really have any advice per se. I think a little bit of more organization wouldn't hurt anyone though...

    Pros

good benefits and and discounts while you are on the clock. Paying for your college is also a very good benefit when it comes to the job

    Cons

They are full of themselves..they do not care about their people just the business. Never get a weekend off and if you are sick and you call out they give you a hard time

    Advice to Management

get some better gms in the stores that actually care about their employees. respect their employees as well and don't treat them like crap

I have been working at Wawa part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Its a great place is you are looking for part time. As a collage student its hard to find a job that would allow you to pick your own hours. However at wawa if you are a good employ they give you hours whenever you want. They are open 24/7 so they need people and the business is expanding so more hours to give. They are also great to their employes.

    Cons

The break is very short and if you are working at a really busy wawa(which they often are) than you almost never have downtime, its constant work and very fast pace.

    Advice to Management

    Break time ...
