Wayne farms has good benefits, great hours. It's a great place to work overall.

The pay is a little low. Some of the supervisors could use training on how to treat the employees a little better.

Give some of the older hands the opportunity to become supervisors or lead people after all some of them has been there over twenty five years.

    Pros

There are absolutely no pros about working for this company or at least the Decatur Further Processing Plants.

    Cons

training, office culture, personal growth, benefits, pay, management, structure, cheap, quality, etc. I could go on and on and on about all the horrible things about this place.

    Advice to Management

Apparently training is non-existent here, they expect you to know anything and everything about processing poultry within the plants and get angry if you ask for any help or confront anyone with a work-related problem. They like to threaten you with the phrase, "If you don't like how it's done around here or can't figure it out on your own, why don't you look for a different job elsewhere?!"
