ProsExceptionally bright and talented co-workers.
Great growth opportunities.
Enormous potential to grow and learn.

ConsThe company is growing faster than it can hire, which causes many to feel overworked. But this is not the worst problem to have.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep doing what you're doing!

Oakland, CA

Former Employee – worked at Waypoint Homes full-time for more than a year

ProsThis company moves quickly which is great! If something isn't working, they're willing to change it until something works. The turnaround time was unlike anything I've seen before. As another reviewer said, "you will quickly see what your strengths and weaknesses are."

ConsThe company's strength is also it's weakness. With such rapid growth, there isn't time to effectively train new employees. Waypoint is terrifyingly disorganized. A simple task is always much more difficult here. It's also severely understaffed. In some departments, it seemed like there were more temps than full-timers. Pay and compensation is laughable unless you're in management.

TOO MANY MANAGERS! As they hired more layers of management, it became a classic case of too many cooks in the kitchen. Everyone works late hours but don't try to come in late or leave early. They seem to forget that some of us are salaried.

Advice to Senior ManagementCare about your employees. Don't say you do; show it.
