    I worked at Wayport

    Pros

Fun corporate culture - perks are great
They take care of their employees as a whole
    Laid back atmosphere
    Cheap health benefits

    Cons

Pay is much lower than other companies in the tech industry. And they get mad when you leave for a company that pays much much more. It really depends on your direct manager. My first manager made me absolutely miserable and never appreciated hard work. She received several complaints to upper management. Luckily, she left the company and my new manager was just AWESOME.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please take employees comments about their managers seriously. If you get several complaints for the same manager, you might want to consider looking in to the matter.

I have been working at Wayport

    Pros

There is a very active and friendly culture in the company. The people are a pleasure to work with and adds some fun to each work day. Management is receptive of employee feedback and empowers employees to make positive changes. Monthly all employee meetings keep everyone up to date on high level plans and goals for the company.

Annual celebrations: Halloween costume contest, Winter Holiday event, Summer picnic

    Cons

More responsibilities and work for the salary paid compared to other companies in the area.
No real ongoing training program in place, but they're trying. Most training occur on the job or from peers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Kudos on creating a great working environment, but the pay scale should be adjusted by the amount of work that we're responsible for completing.
