I worked at Web.com Inc full-time
Pros – The teams are small so there's opportunity to make an impact and try your hand at different tasks. Work environment is fairly relaxed, and the stock options aren't bad if you can rise up the ladder a bit.
Cons – The downside is that the organization as a whole is fragmented and there's little investment in bringing down the technical debt they've accumulated through acquisitions. Also, the organization doesn't see themselves as a technology company so there's little interest in investing in their developers to learn new skills or refactor existing solutions. Weirdly austere about purchases and amenities for a successful company. Some teams will demand a lot of overtime and the base pay is usually laughable compared to other opportunities.
Advice to Senior Management – Invest in better technical leadership and consolidating the platforms and infrastructure.

I worked at Web.com Inc full-time for more than a year
Pros – They offer a great deal of solutions.
Cons – They grew by acquisitions and nobody seems to be able to play on the same field. The division I was with was/is a train wreck and management seems pretty clueless.
Advice to Senior Management – Organized and actually have a real game plan. Work with your employees and not against them as it seems to be.

I worked at Web.com Inc full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Worked with a great group of people, we worked hard and played hard. Relaxed atmosphere fun times
Cons – When customers are calling a technical support channel, they shouldn't have to be offered new products or services. It puts undue pressure on staff and customers. Bigger salary would have been nice. I left for more money

I have been working at Web.com Inc full-time for more than a year
Pros – Mostly pleasant co-workers, relatively easy to move up or transfer departments, great HR team, clean workplace, decent entry-level pay (extremely "entry-level"), stock options and decent benefit plans, annual parties and company events, decent "perks", overall fun place to work
Cons – Upsell requirements in most departments for a mostly dated & lacking (by today's standard) product, outgrowing building (employee lounge (which wasn't half bad) has been replaced by a classroom, not many other "amenities" that many other tech companies provide, poor management in some departments, very little or no training for most departments (they expect you to know your skill, which is understandable)
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to your little people/people on the front lines more... they know more about what's going on than you think and have some tremendous ideas and solutions to some very big problems.

I have been working at Web.com Inc full-time for more than a year
Pros – great work environment, relaxed atmosphere in my dept, growing company, great place to get your foot in the door of internet marketing & other internet services.
Cons – pay is below industry avg, raises seem to not be that common, poor inter-department communitcation, monthly incentive levels seem to always be adjusted to be harder to hit, even with lower salaries we still have to contribute to health benefits.
Advice to Senior Management – Attract talented employees and retain the ones you have by at least paying industry average salaries, possibly offer immediately vested stock grants, not just options, so employees feel more connected to the company. Provide full benefits without the employee having to contribute to them as a way to raise the value of compensation packages. Not asking for tons of money, just pay an average wage please!

I worked at Web.com Inc full-time for more than a year
Pros – There weren't too many. Some really great people oppressed by low wages just hanging on waiting for better opportunities somewhere else. A springboard company.
Cons – No raises. The executives are busy taking care of themselves while paying their employees garbage wages.
Advice to Senior Management – Pay attention to what is going on down below. Sooner or later you will have nothing working for you except for drones that are not capable of thinking for themselves. There will be no innovation because you will lack people to move up the ranks. It operates like a bank, but pretends to be a technology company.

I have been working at Web.com Inc full-time for more than a year
Pros – Great benefits and great people to work with.
Cons – The salary should be more competitive within the field (s). It seems as the years go on, salaries are cut for the management role.

I have been working at Web.com Inc full-time for more than a year
Pros – holiday party, good health insurance
Cons – you will def. wonder how management became management.... when the CEO tells you the higher ups aren't the smartest people (yet they get paid out the ass) you kinda wonder... they honestly promote the morons and overlook the smart hardworking individuals.
Advice to Senior Management – Notice the individuals that take initiative and promote them or at least acknowledge them...and dont be so tight on pay raises just because we get some stock granted to us...

I have been working at Web.com Inc full-time for more than a year
Pros – Stock Options, laid back clothing requirements (mostly wear jeans). Don't think about work once you step out of the door.
Cons – No desire to actually fulfill the customers' needs, some products are awful but some are great... but you can't tell the customer that. Other departments sell against each other to the same customer.
Advice to Senior Management – I have given advice to management, in person. No one wants to hear it. I don't think upper management has a clear picture of what's really going on.

I worked at Web.com Inc full-time
Pros – Great co-workers-they really made the experience worth it.
Cons – Our direct managers took a lot of frustrations out on our team. I assume it was all coming from upper management. I think there's a disconnect between upper level and what's really going on.
Advice to Senior Management – Communicate more! Give positive feedback to team members--not just negative!
