    Pros

    Full of creative, talented employees
Year-end bonus for both salary and hourly employees
Special events, including annual holiday party, football, soccer, and golf tournaments

    Cons

    Little opportunity for growth
Low overall compensation with no raises
Zero performance-based bonuses for most fulfillment positions
Does not nurture growth of existing talent pool
Outdated and disjointed digital marketing practices
Significant disconnect between upper management and fulfillment

    Advice to Management

Web.com is a great place to begin your career fresh out of college if you can't leave Jacksonville. The company has become the "Walmart of websites," maintaining antiquated platforms and practices. To excel within the company, you should either accept an underpaying management position or apply for lateral positions in other departments. The pay is exceptionally low for the volume of work but the individuals at Web.com have so much potential. Many employees freelance outside the company to make ends meet. Let's just say If the company were a person, I wouldn't put a ring on it.

    Pros

    The pay is fairly competitive.

    Cons

HR ignores employee complaints and regularly "loses" files.
Management harasses and bullies employees, has all discussions "friendly" and off the record, then insists that things were agreed to differently than they were.

Internal quality assurance is a messy hodgepodge of poorly written guidelines with no specific rules.

Supervisors are undertrained and underqualified with little to no prior experience and even less applicable skills.

Interdepartmental communication is non-existent and inaccurate. If you ask 10 members of management the same question, you will get 10 different answers.

The sales team is encouraged to do anything to pass any sale, up to and including lying to customers.

Management regularly steals ideas and products of their subordinates and presents them as their own.

Benefits are a joke and employees are harassed and bullied into choosing the more expensive options.

Many members of management and the majority of bottom tier workers are undereducated, including copywriters with the equivalent of a 4th grade writing and comprehension level.

    Advice to Management

Gut the management team, hire a business ethics specialist to create a healthy workplace environment

    Pros

-Depending on your position(s) you are given the ability to learn how to push phone sales, remote support, etc.
    -Remote work for some positions

    Cons

-Room to "move" but now grow.
    -Not a very innovative company
-Infrastructure is broke, and nobody wanted to spend money to fix the problems. The band-aid approach was always used it seems.

    Advice to Management

Provide the actual services you state you will to your clients.

    Pros

    The benefit package was good

    Cons

Web.com is not an employee centric company, all they care about is their bottom line. Web.com offers a very hostile work environment and consistently threatens the sales employees with being terminated on a monthly basis. They don't care if the employee is sick or dealing with a family situation, they will still be threatened with losing their job! Training is marginal at best.

    Advice to Management

Need a more sales oriented environment. Need to learn to motivate and support and offer a positive environment where the sales employees can thrive!

    Pros

Nice Christmas party; a few perks such as Jaguar games and event tickets. Extremely nice and personable CEO.

    Cons

No raises and internal candidates get treated differently than external candidates. No set salary ranges for positions so internal candidates who put in the effort can end up making less than an external candidate. Senior Management does not listen to lower level employees who actually live on the front lines

    Advice to Management

Groom the talent from within and pay market price for those employees.

    Pros

On January 20, 2015, Web.com opened a Care Here Clinic at our Drums/Hazleton location. This is such a great benefit, as someone who takes 7 maintenance medications each day getting those refilled each month can be costly. One of the perks of using the clinic is that they can refill your prescriptions that they have available for FREE.. For me this is a savings of $47 a month for a 30 day supply. I am now getting 4 of those 7 maintenance medications through the Care Here Clinic which is saving me $47 a month but my total savings is $141 as they are giving me a 90 day supply for each of the medications they are filling. Who doesn't like to save money, so if you are on a daily medication, make an appointment at the clinic and see if they can save you $$$ too.

    Cons

There is nothing to be listed at this time.

    Advice to Management

Thank you for bringing the Care Here Clinic to the Drums / Hazleton Web.com office.
This is a wonderful benefit for our employees to utilize while here at work.
