    Pros

Great people generally. If there was any office politics, I wasn't particularly aware of it.

    Cons

Company is driven by its Accounting department, so creativs are gradually shuffled out. It's a little dull.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop sacking people; invest in them.

    Pros

    Good and reliable hardware locator
    Still have some big customers
Salary is within a reasonable range
    Benefit package is reasonable

    Cons

    Too many re-organizations
As a high-tech company, there is no knowledgeable technologies leader who have strong technology background (very danger)
    Technologies being used are out-dated

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need a good technology leader with clear and good technology direction for the company. Otherwise, competitors can overtake Webtech really easy and big customers will go away one by one.

    Pros

Fantastic team to work with, everyone is extremely helpful and always willing to assist you when you need it. All tools and resources are provided, desk space and office space are very good. Company does allow for personal growth, every year they fund advance studies to an employee. Benefits are generous and work hours are very flexible, they allow you to do some work out of home.

    Cons

Technology suite needs to advance a bit faster. But overall great solution

The "Great Divide" between manufacturing personnel and the rest of the company means limited ability for career advancement once in the manufacturing department.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Manufacturing is an essential part of the companies growth and progression, employees in this department should be valued.

    Pros

Competitive salary, great people, monthly lunches, fun holiday parties

    Cons

Lack of work life balance, cut-throat management, stress, minimal vacation time, benefits not as strong as they were when I started, too much staff turn-over

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more transparent. Some of you have a reputation for not being above board. The communication from senior managers is abysmal.

    Pros

There are still some very talented people at Webtech Wireless, many brought on during the boom years when there was a real drive and vision in the company management - as dysfunctional as it may have been. Overall it was a pleasant and fun place to work, even if there was an overwhelming feeling that things just weren't going anywhere.

    Cons

For a time they were leaders in their field with some real vision. Currently they've lost their way and the competition has left them behind. The company is now managed by bean counters, more interested in quarterly results and an eventual cash-out. The morale in the company reflects that and most have their resumes at the ready. Quite a few good people have left over the last 2 years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management has to change, I don't think there's a way to turn it around with this crew.
