    Pros

You run your area as if it was your own business. Flexibility in making your own schedule.

    Cons

In 6 years I had 5 managers. The company cut over 400 jobs in 2014.

    Advice to Management

Very limited unless you relocated to NYC. Your move was not paid for.

I worked at Weight Watchers full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Field staff and others I worked with have amazing passion to share the program and help customers (aka Members) change their lives!

    Cons

Poor execution of initiatives, lack of planning, and poor implementation of innovation have left the company struggling.

    Advice to Management

Get it together! Your continued incompetence is sinking the ship. You're driving more than 50 years of success into the ground and hurting a lot of very committed employees in the process!

    Pros

Great people to work with -- and they all have common goals. Company constantly works to stay up on the latest science, and communicates that with its employees. Lots of training, and really enjoyed meeting people and helping them out with their health.

    Cons

HARD WORK with very LITTLE PAY! The work, especially as a seminar leader, is physically challenging. You're required to transport seminar materials and LOTS of WW food around with you to local companies. For a company this large and well-known, they really need to increase their pay. Employees are passionate and loyal, and need to be rewarded.

    Advice to Management

Increase pay to retain passionate, hard-working, and loyal employees!

A good part-time job if you're looking for a hobby but don't expect upward mobility or high pay.

    Pros

Meet wonderful poeple, help people improve their health

    Cons

Terrible pay. Have to work days, evenings and weekends to get enough hours to qualify for full time.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your meeting room staff! They will keep this company flourishing, rather than online and gimmicks. Must offer more competitive pay to keep qualified staff.

I have been working at Weight Watchers part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Continued weight loss maintenance and being able to help others achieve their goals! I love the people I work with and the members. Such an up-beat atmosphere and a place I enjoy being.

    Cons

The pay is the worst! The hours have been drastically cut in the past 18 months. Communication between upper management and leaders/receptionists is spotty and seems to only become important when corporate changes are occurring. Corporate seems only to be concerned with their shareholders. I cannot remember when I had a one-on-one meeting with my territory manager. Hardly ever hear from her. So much required training to be paid so little. There seems to be a lot of older women working at the lowest levels of this company who just accept the lower pay because they feel like they have no other choices. It is sad.

    Advice to Management

Talk to the people that make your company work. Pay your leaders and receptionists more money and communicate better.
