I have been working at Weill Cornell Medical College

    Pros

Have the name of your institution on your resume

    Cons

Management makes up their own rules hence the need to constantly contact HR to find out what the actual law and policies are.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be nice to people and get off your high horses because the biggest institution today can easily fall to number 2 or 3 tmw. Treat your employees with respect at least in the women's health ob/gyn department. I can't speak for all of Cornell some departments may treat people nicer.

I worked at Weill Cornell Medical College

    Pros

Exposure to diverse disciplines, learn to work productively in a very fast paced and stressful environment.
Good health insurance at the institution.

    Cons

Hard to grow into something bigger. Priority is given to MDs and not some much to PhDs. A very thin line between collaboration and competition, and the PI does not care as long as the project is done. Lack of mentorship and poor career training.
