    Pros

Coworkers are good caring people. Neat products and applications. Plentiful opportunities for advancement, to a point. Good support of additional training if desired.

    Cons

Tends to be strongly run by meeting numbers and budgets. A lot of "ship it no matter what", causing lapses in quality and lack of customer focus. Can be heavy on red tape and bureaucracy.

    Advice to Management

Needs more focus on what really adds value to products and services.

    Pros

Paycheck, benefits and some good co-workers.

    Cons

Poor management that starts with the Regional Management Team. Good old boys club that includes extremely bad behavior. If you are woman you will go no where with this company. HR is a joke - don't bother reporting anything as they will put it back on you

    Advice to Management

Clean house of current upper management.

management hire people then when oil goes down management panics and start laying off people so they can continue making their millions.

    Advice to Management

better planning in hiring people they have families to take care of, not just you and not even at your pay scale.

    Pros

Company has good wages and benefits. There are a wide variety of jobs in the "system".

    Cons

workload is mostly with non-salaried employees. Process to effect changes is cumbersome. Every aspect of the business in driven by the "company process" and customer/vendor considerations are secondary.

    Advice to Management

Corporate managers need to spend more time listening to the hourly employees. Local managers quash a lot of concerns, ideas and suggestions that should be heard by the managers at headquarters.

    Pros

The facility was newer and had decent amenities.

    Cons

A revolving door of upper management. With the constant change in management initiatives never get completed. Too many "fly by night" managers flown in from all over the country and the world.

    Advice to Management

The corporate bunch in Scotland need to get their act together or I don't see much future for any division other than oil and gas.

    Pros

decent pay and in a good city. Company published values are good one's but are not lived up to, not even close.

    Cons

Run completely by finance. No long term initiatives, necessary investments to take care of business and customers are constantly deferred. Constant leadership turnover creates a revolving door of projects and initiatives that never get completed. Company only grows through acquisition, organic growth is non existent and continues to shrink.

    Advice to Management

Commit to improvement and stick with it regardless of quarterly results. Put the customer first and value employees.
