    Audit Senior- good experience

Audit Senior (Current Employee) New York, NY

ProsYou learn a lot and have a lot of opportunities to take on new jobs/experiences if you show the initiative. The people (for the most part) are great. There are a lot of clubs/activities/happy hours during non-busy season.

ConsWhile the hours aren't nearly as bad as "Big 4," they are a challenge

Advice to Senior ManagementConsider increasing the 401k match (currently up to 2%)

    Mixed bag

Manager (Current Employee) New York, NY

ProsSupportive co-workers, good opportunity to gain experience dealing with clients directly, decent upward mobility for dedicated staff.

ConsIt seems like management and firm partners have been unable to get on the same page about the firm's goals: some are trying to turn the firm into a much larger organization, but not everyone has bought in.

Advice to Senior ManagementFocus more on organic growth, rather than acquisitions.

Nice team of people, but poor communication from top management and lack of leadership vision

Senior Manager (Current Employee) New York, NY

ProsFriendly atmosphere, great work/life balance outside of busiest periods. There are some (although few) young and dynamic leaders. HR are supportive.

ConsHighly bureaucratic processes which hinder ability to service clients. Top management rarely communicate to the wider team, rarely informed about joiners/leavers etc. Most of the partners are nearing retirement and seem to care very little about their successors.

Advice to Senior ManagementInvest more in development of young and dynamic leaders who could impact real positive change in the business
