Pros – Pay was very generous for a sales representative in the cabinet industry. You are given a lot of freedom to run your territory as you see fit.
Cons – Expense reimbursements can be slow. No vision insurance. Programs and products are geared toward a specific area of the country and it seems as if the management isn't willing at times to look at other areas of the country for ideas. Can sometimes abandon new ideas quickly if they don't work quickly.
Advice to Senior Management – Ask your sales reps what they see as needed for new programs when business needs to be jumpstarted. Get away from Alabama when looking for new ideas. Spend more time in the field outside the southeast. Deal with the "old boy" network that exists and is ignored.
Pros – You will get terminated if you become sick or have a medical condition.
Cons – They do not appreciate their employees. It is not a place to work if you are looking for a long term career.
Advice to Senior Management – Take care of your employees not your pockets.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
