Interaction with animals...really, that's about it.

Cons

Incompetent management, filthy atmosphere, rude doctors, treated like a child, very unprofessional with clients, working six days a week, inflexible about time off, not enough employees, people quit on a monthly basis, no kennel tech, vet techs must clean everything as they are too lazy to hire a cleaning crew ...

Advice to Senior Management

Go to a seminar on being a manager..

The managment was awful. Very unprofessional, pushed to sell products over animal well-being, staff treated very poorly by doctors/managmant. They hire just about anyone off the street with little to no experience. As a former employee, I would not even take my own animals here for a routine check up. They talk badly about pet owners when out of the room and make their staff clean their filthy windows/floors/tec. rather than let them observe other staff members who have been there longer to gain experience. DO NOT WORK HERE.

Treat your staff with a little respect.
