    Pros

I really enjoy my manager. She provides an outstanding environment. She isn't so hard on sales. But she still wants us to get the job done.

    Cons

It is very stressful. One must achieve their sales goals no matter what. Sometimes it feels like all they care about it selling products to customers.

    I worked at Wells Fargo

    Pros

    The employee benefits are great.
The salaries are fair and the options to meet certain bonuses are excellent as well.

    Cons

The turn over for certain positions at branches is relatively fast. This leaves the customer base reluctant to continue business with the company or same branch.

    I worked at Wells Fargo

    Pros

They give you information on job opportunities, expected salaries for those positions, and HR actually will respond to your submissions.

    Cons

-Before a job is posted, the candidate has already been chosen most of the time.
-If you are in retail banking, your only real way to move up is to be come a branch manager first, then you can move into other areas.
-If you aren't interested in branch management, or are not a good manager, you don't move up in the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Actually promote the people that work with business customers to business positions (business banking, credit analyst, merchant services rep, payroll rep, etc.). Those positions do not require management experience, therefore you don't need to be a manager first. A business specialist is more qualified because they have actually been selling the products.

Terrible company. As an employee expect to be horrendously micromanaged. Work 6 days a week but paid for five. Also, you WILL be fired if you do not meet your ever changing sales goals.. Last but not least ...expect Call nights! Lol

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

This is a real stretch but you receive Free checking. They are closed on Sundays and bank holidays. Paid vacation days. You are paid every two-weeks. Nothing is really outstanding about this organization.

    Cons

Poor management, no advancement opportunities, heavy work load with tons of customer interactions with little downtime, no lunch breaks. Be sure to do your research before you accept a job with WF.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
