Pros
This company will give you everything that you want if you are good. This is not a job for the weak at heart. You have to be able to do whats best for both customer and company. Sometimes Management will guide you to focus on driving measurable business to meet their goals. Do them a favor and meet those goals and you will be loved! If you are driven, ethical and have strong relationship management skills, then the possibilities are endless. The name is great so when people come see you, it's for a reason.
Cons
Managers of different stores are all somewhat different. Some focus on measurable statistics that are instant i.e. solutions. If your not getting them, then you are coached. Sometimes managers will turn the other way while business takes place. Brokerage is scattered with other wirehouses/RIA's having a competitive advantage.
Advice to Senior Management
Pay us like our peers. Give us some competitive advantages when it comes to brokerage.

Cons
overworked team members in many areas
some decisions difficult to reach due to collaborative environment
Pros
- committment to customers
- committment to people
Cons
- a really big place with lots of bureacracy
Pros
Provide one of the best career paths for those who are willing to work the uneven schedules and over achieve goals, people are wonderful to work with and the working environment is second to none. This is a very tight knit group where people are treated with respect and everyone is always willing to help even if it isn't "part of their job". They have great benefits.
Cons
Cold calling prospective customers is the worst part of this job, the banking industry has become very desperate for revenue and competition is heating up among other major banking establishments that working for a bank in this day and age you will need to be an excellent sales person and push products on people and call people to set appointments with you on a daily basis. Even still, making sales doesn't guarantee a commission and often bankers struggle to reach the plateau where they are able to make a small quarterly bonus. If you thrive on high volume sales and cold calling this is the job for you.
Advice to Senior Management
Once the dust settles after your recent acquisition and you have found a group of bankers and tellers who are able to conform to the wells fargo way of selling and service, begin to introduce more monetary incentives and allow the employees to breath a sigh of relief knowing they have made the "cut" and can have more money in their pockets to support their families and solidify a strong morale in your stores. Especially those on the east coast.
Pros
Lots of PTO time. Great benefits. Matching 6% of 401K. Lots of opportunites to learn and develop new skills.
Cons
Sometimes you will feel left out of something if you are not in the right click. Reminds you of high school only we are all supposed to be adults.
Advice to Senior Management
Let everyone in the department have a chance to shine if they want to, but don't try to force them into something they don't want to do.
Pros
amazing benefits, team building, excellent company to work for
Cons
the turnover of tellers would be my only con
Advice to Senior Management
be passionate and lead your team the way you want your leader to lead you
Pros
Time Flexibility is one of the greatest parts of working at wells fargo. There is never a feeling of being burnt out from overwork. Great leadership from those that will mentor you especially with those entry level jobs. Relaxed setting that allows you to do your best work.
Cons
At wells Fargo you get very little pay as you promote from within. After a while you get the feeling that you need to leave the company even if you were happy in order to get a better salary.
Advice to Senior Management
Make sure you pay your employees a fair wage so that good talent stays at Wells Fargo. Other than that the company is great at finding good fits for their ambitious employees.
