Pros
Amount of PTO and vacation time given per calendar year.
Cons
Lack of communication between managers and staff, lack of recognition.
Advice to Senior Management
Recognize your employees in some fashion, they work long hard hours and deserve at least that.
Pros
Opportunities for growth/advancements. Treat their employees well, and offer competitive wages.
Cons
Sometimes it can be difficult to implement change.
Advice to Senior Management
Remember to keep pushing career development!
Pros
Safe company, the company not only thinks of themselves, but what will happen to the company five years from that decision.
Cons
It can be a bit stressful when the whip gets cracked when it comes to sales. You have to be prepared to make sales a true priority.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep in mind that your employee's have to balance their stress just as you do. Don't let it roll down hill as much.
Pros
Wells Fargo is a very well known brand and it really stands out when mentioning companies. The work environment and management was also top notch and the rewards are fair.
Cons
While working as a teller, you are encouraged to push for a lot of sales for new products and opening accounts. It can be stressful at first but once you get the hang of it it's all reflexes
Advice to Senior Management
There really isn't much advice to give as a teller because I understand that you need to push for sales in order to build the business and for their own recognition too.
Pros
High level of professionalism, good leaders that recognize work well done and make you feel relevant
Cons
Health benefits have been downgraded. It is a very large organization and communication at times may not be optimal given its size.
Advice to Senior Management
Continue to do things the way they are being done
Pros
Best in class staff team members, I feel that I am working with the best of the best very day I come into work. Love the challenge and learning from others on a daily basis. In other organizations, it felt that people were just there for a paycheck, here we believe in the company and do our best to support its mission and purpose.
Cons
Large organization, sometimes difficult to get decisions made due to size/complexity and matrix.
Advice to Senior Management
None - our management is very competent.
Pros
There is plenty of room for growth and personal/professional development, all within a culture which truly values integrity and diversity.
Cons
They were not able to sponsor my green card, and I ultimately had to leave when my H1B expired.
Pros
Your own schedule. Great facilities.
Cons
Takes a while to get paid on your deals.
Advice to Senior Management
Pat your people on the back more
Pros
great compensation plan for those who go above and beyond , service is very important and great service is rewarded with additional payouts
Cons
goals are too high they need to be lowered, management does not understand how goals are determined and reached , change payout structure for licensed bankers
Advice to Senior Management
lower goals so people become less likely to do unethical things, solutions should be weighed less on manager salaries and more focus should be placed on high valued products then number of products sold
Pros
Easy to grow within the company, and there are great resources available to help you succeed. They also make it easy to work while going to school.
Cons
They promote people even if they are not quite ready to be in a supervisor position. Very hard to get the personal time you want off.
Advice to Senior Management
Watch the service managers closer, not all of the are good at or can handle the position they are in.
