    Pros

Very Employee-centric, while working for the company, i was also enrolled at the local university studying for my Bachelors degree. Wells Fargo worked around my school schedule allowing me to continue my education without worrying about my job security.

    Cons

Some people higher up the hierarchy tend to throw their weight around lower level employees.

    Pros

The company as a whole understands that you spend the majority of your waking hours at work and with that knowledge tries to make your work environment as convenient as possible.

    Cons

Most policies and decisions are based off of tenure which, in my opinion, isn't always a direct reflection of knowledge or ability in regards to the job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Restructure hiring/promoting process.

Great job, but... the SALES are crazy! Dog eat dog world!

    I worked at Wells Fargo

    Pros

Amazing team! Everyone pretty much becomes your family brothers, sisters, brothers you name it. I really enjoyed working with my team. Seeing your customers that bring you food and gifts is always a plus. I had the most amazing manager in the world! I can't speak for other branches, but mine was so helpful and really wanted to see her team grow. I loved volunteering for events and the company parties we had were always fun! We were professional around customers, but acted like kids in the break room, I always had a good time. I loved my PTO days!!! The pay was also not bad! I loved my team, but the sales are the biggest CONS!

    Cons

SALES SALES SALES will drive you crazy and stress you out!!!! Sometimes I would come home and have dreams of work! That's how bad it was, they definitely gave you everything you need to learn and be successful, but after 4 years I couldn't be as successful as I was in the beginning. Each branch pretty much sold to the same customers everyday and they were pretty sick of hearing the sales pitch day in and day out. This company is the MOST aggressive in sales. The quotas are always changing so if we do good, they make the numbers higher to get and if we do bad we get a write up and then your job is on the line. When you do good, you are recognized though EXTREMELY, which is what I liked. Overall its not a bad company to work for, there are so many room for growth. Just make sure when applying, that your ready to dedicate your life to SALES, its the companies main focus. You will also be competing against your co-workers which then turns into a dog eat dog world. Constant arguments with your peers about whose is whose customer and whose sales is whose sales. Sales start to become territorial for each banker and can frustrate the life out of someone. One second your fine and making jokes with your co-workers, the next.... your in an argument and hate each other. They will drill the life out of you when it comes to that. You will always be scared to lose your job because of it! You will love everything else about this job, besides the sales. You will know what I mean when you apply.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None really, mine was amazing! For the higher managers, I think the company should focus more on customer service, because selling to the same people over and over and expecting to reach the sales goals was a little over the top. People that came in, even from other branches had the same reactions "Here they come to sell me something again."
