I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great corporate culture of inclusion and progressive values. Good people at its core. Plenty of opportunities to move forward in the company.

    Cons

Very strong sales culture. There is a temptation to cut corners or to resort to less than honest means to get the numbers that are expected. Seems to always be pushing a boulder up hill.

    Advice to Management

Create reasonable expectations of people. Underperformance in a location due to its poor location and/or demographic needs to not be taken out on those working in the trenches.

The people I work with are great. Less micro-managing. 8-5 job is a plus.

    Cons

Repetitive. Management does not usually value your opinion. Boring.

    Advice to Management

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Offers great opportunities to work in difference team environments. Celebrates diversity and many positions have flexible work-life balance features. Benefits are somewhat competitive with 401k matching.

    Cons

The actual salaries tend to be on par or a little less than the competition and annual raises are generally at or below the rate of inflation. Changing jobs is critical to salary growth and career advancement.

    Advice to Management

If annual salary increases are going to be kept low even for high performing team members, then the company should consider basing profit sharing and bonus payouts on performance to reward higher performers without making additional salary commitments.
