Pros
opportunity for adavancement. Great sales training.
Cons
Too much micro management. Too much sales.
Advice to Senior Management
Make sure you hit your sales goals and management will not be too hard on you.
Pros
paid time off, good place to get experience, able to work week ends flexible with schedule when you are hired on, (not before)
Cons
low pay, horrible wages compared to other banks, Extreme stress on sales, they don't care about the customer just appear to
Advice to Senior Management
Pay your employees more, your pay structure is horrible compared to chase or the other credit unions. Benefits are soso.
Pros
World known
Flexible scheduling if you're a student
Meet some interesting and great people
Lots of locations if you ever need to transfer
Cons
All about sales, no customer concern whatsoever.
Management, for the most part, is superficial.
It's a numbers game, at the end of the day you are just a number.
Advice to Senior Management
Please stop being so sales hungry, your employees are not happy. I did not meet one single employee that wasn't in management and was happy with the way they were treated.
Pros
Wells definitely provides an excellent benefits package as well as security. If you are willing to work for it and do absolutely anything you can work your way up into management.
Cons
There is incredibly high sales pressure with little to no incentive compensation given. The marketing and sales tactics can be unprofessional and give you the feeling that you are a scumy salesperson. Not a good feeling.
Pros
the pay is okay, the benefits are good and you get paid time off or vacation time. When you are hitting your numbers the job is bearable.
Cons
the sales pressure can be hard to deal with, and it is at all levels. If you do move up the sales pressure follows you. Selling checking accounts to people with checking accounts is a big part of the job. You are expected to do a financial questionaire for every customer you sit with which can be a annoyance for both you and the customer.
Advice to Senior Management
being condescending is not going to make me sell more. Quit giving us useless forms to fill out and let us do the job well without hassle.
Pros
Great way to start work and build experience for Financial Industries. Many opportunities for the right candidate to grow their career
Cons
Very few weekends off, have to work 3 out of 4 weekends, have to start at 830 and work till 6 or 630pm.
Advice to Senior Management
Less Sales pressure
Pros
Good benefits, co workers are great
Cons
Worse management I have ever seen. Micromanagement to the extreme. They don't care about you, just the sales numbers. They act like they care about customers but they don't. The reason why many have high sales is because they are shady. If you don't make sales numbers you will not get anywhere. They will work you when they need you, then not give you the hours you need after you've worked when they are short staffed. You will give all you can then they will throw it back in your face.
Advice to Senior Management
Focus more on people, care about them, care about customers not just making a buck off of them. Focus more on customer service it will make your reputation better.
Pros
great training facility and trainers
Cons
throw you right in the water
Advice to Senior Management
be less sales driven when starting off
Pros
Excellent 401K Med, Dent,Vision....Good PTO offering....but next to imposible to use it....do to "poor service levels"
Cons
You will be doing sales and the numbers are set very very high.....They use numbers to manage people out. .....If you are not a top performer...no worries just be in good with your sup and you will be a shining star! They will push you hard for the #'s, but the bonus at the end of the quoter will be around $200(after taxes).......
Advice to Senior Management
Stop following the Wells Fargo script!! Use your brains!! But if you look at the above cons....Brains are optional!!
Pros
Great employee relationships.
Team member bank accounts.
discounts.
Cons
work life balance is unheard of.
sales sales sales.
No motivation.
Lack of compitent supervisors/managers.
split days off.
