Consintense supervision, process following very strictly enforced, statistics keeped forever on your permanent record for all employees to see nation wide, meet goals or get fired

    Pretty good company. Alright leadership

    Teller (Former Employee)
    Salt Lake City, UT

Pros-For a college student this is a great job. Pretty good money, they can be flexible with hours.
-You get a good amount of PTO
    -In a nice bank/working environment
-Bankers can help you out with your accounts

Cons-So-so management. I don't know how they pick leaders or if they screen them enough but it's sad when you know they are messing up and you could do better.
-They really push sales, though they have taken away some "Solutions" which help you achieve goals.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement training needs to be longer or something. You need to go over how to treat employees and handle situations. One/two bad managers can stop someone from continuing in the company i.e. me

There seems to be a lot of future career/advancement options available, yet politics got in the way.

    Home Mortgage Consultant (Former Employee)
    West Jordan, UT

ProsSolid company to work for. Good environment. Great benefits. Great goal communication from the top down.

ConsSlow processes to complete assigned duties. Very political.

Advice to Senior ManagementWork on backend processes. Make opportunities available within the enterprise. Be quicker to recognize personal agendas at the district management level.

Great company to work for if you don't mind sales.

    Lead Teller (Current Employee)
    Provo, UT

ProsThe company is structured for advancement. Great benefits (medical, dental, retirement...) and paid time off.

ConsDifficult to break out of the retail sales side. No value was given to education on the retail side. Those who sold the most advanced regardless of other aspects.

    A bank is a bank

Personal Banker I (SAFE) (Current Employee)
    Provo, UT

ProsGood benefits and because it is such a large, well known bank, it is a great resume builder as well.

ConsEveryone says high sales pressure, and although that is true, I don't think it is as excessive as it is made out to be.
