I have been working at Wendy's part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Flexible schedule. Managers don't really get mad at you. Nice co workers and environment. Free food depending on the manager.

    Cons

Too much work for little pay. Very tiresome. Some managers do not care about what you do. Customers can be aggressive and does not make sense.

I have been working at Wendy's full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The best part of working at Wendy's is seeing my regular customers smiling faces every week. I work with a variety of different cultures and met many unique individuals. The pay is not worth mentioning but my boss has always showed me respect and in turn I have been a loyal employee for three years.

    Cons

I have never worked for a company that had a cap on their pay. I started out a minimum wage and have worked for almost three years to find out that my last raise to $8.00 is the cap. I cannot make anymore money regardless of my performance or time employed. Holidays are not paid, and at three years of service I still only acquire one week of vacation. I will never be offered insurance or any other type of benefit. The only incentive I have received is a free turkey at Thanksgiving.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I truly believe if you take care of your employees, they will be loyal to you. I have been told by my Store Manager that I receive more positive customer comment cards than any other employee in the company. I believe Hoover Foods is now up to 44 locations and 2 Hotels. I have been dedicated and loyal to your company since the start of my employment. I work six days a week and only receive 29-30 hours. I am a single mother of two teenage boys, one in college who struggles everyday just to buy groceries. I realize that is not your problem, but it makes me wonder what Dave would say if he were still alive.

I have been working at Wendy's full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

I love the people I work with, sometimes there can be drama with them but nothing too serious. When customers are rude they help laugh it off (not in front of the customer of course) and training is pretty easy.

    Cons

Rude customers. All the time, everyday I work. There will always be people like that. And the store's owner is a complete jerk (for lack of better words) to all of the employees especially the managers. I would never want to be one because I see how much stress is put on their shoulders. If there is an incident, no matter how big or small, it'll always be turned into a huge deal. Be careful what you say/do around co-workers/managers. They take you talking about another higher paying job as your resignation. Gossip travels fast.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I know you guys are doing your best keep up the good work and remember that being nice to your employee's and giving compliments isn't technically part of your job but it does make the shifts run faster.

I have been working at Wendy's part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Guess the only pro was experience in doing maintenence for the first time.

    Cons

    - Probably the only job where I had to wait an hour or two just to clock in
    - poor hours, a lot of favoritism going on
    - no chance of moving up

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My advice would be find a way to give ya employees more hours it's ridiculous especially during the fall/winter time
