I have been working at Wesco full-time

    Pros

Great benefits (all), lots of opportunity for extra cash (spiffs, contests, manufacturer promotions), and career growth.

    Cons

The corporate usual. Lots of paper work and planning. Which is necessary but cumbersome.

I have been working at Wesco full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

People that care up and down the corporate structure, good benefits that matter, room to breathe, and room to learn. The corporate culture of Wesco is solidly based on positive inquiry, this is a stance that lends itself to happy employees and a positive work environment.

    Cons

Sometimes slower moving than one would like, none or very little consequences for lack of follow through which gives the impression of a lack of clear leadership.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Set more clear expectations, give employees power to reach those expectations.

I have been working at Wesco

    Pros

it is an excellent place to meet and talk with a diverse group of people. Also a great group of assiciates to work with. It is like your little small hometown store where everybody knows you by name and you know them by name. .wesco takes care of their customers with a smile.

    Cons

for me the drive to work especially with the very high gas prices. i drive round trip 40 miles 5 days a week. i have no other complaints.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

it would be nice to be able to have insurance if you worked at least 35 hours a week and not cobra insurance which is very high. it would also be nice to have a chance to meet some of the leadership in person so i would have a face to put with a name.
